7th February 2010, 5:00pm, this was the date for the Sitiawan Football League Opening Ceremony and the Nan Hwa Band was invited to display melody and march for this exciting event. Y.A.B. Dato’ Zambry was also present for the event.

The band kicked off the event with an energetic fanfare of brass and wind as they march into the field, performing a selection of marches, including the band trademark, Pentland Hills.

The event continued with the League’s 1st official match against a neighboring district team.

After the match ended, the band took the stage for the ending performance, playing a few excerpts from this year’s competition song.

The event ended at around 6:40pm.
