Energy~Spirit~TEAMWORK! Shouts the Nan Hwa Marching Band, as they took off with their first pre-show, marking the first of all the performance to come, signifying a new phase in Marching Season 2009.

4:30pm, activity in band room started to increase as members rustle in and out to do their last minute preparations while parents and supporters started to arrive. After much preparations, the band went on to do one run-through without instruments during 5:30pm.

6:00pm, right after the run- through was finish, the Wind Players, the Percussionists and the Colour Guards went to do their individual warm-ups as the crowd continue expand.

And then the time came, for march-in. 6:30pm, all members started to march to the field. After one last briefing from the instructor, the band readily moved to their positions. The conductor salutes to audience, turns around, and starts the count: 1~~2~~1~2~3~4! And the show starts, as flags were tossed, horns were raised and drumsticks were swung.

And after 10 minutes, it was over, as the band continued with the march-out. while playing 2 marches, the band gracefully made their exit towards a new phase in their performances to come.
